What is a Sharing Circle?

A Sharing Circle allows you to share your digital pictures and videos with your friends and family. It is a central place for you to post your digital moments and memories. But Sharing Circles are even more than sharing photos and videos. Sharing Circles make sharing easy, fast, convenient, and fun! They allow you to reconnect with old friends, make new friends, keep in touch with mom and dad, and show-off pictures of grandkids to the world.

By joining a Sharing Circle, you and your friends can automatically download pictures and videos directly onto a computer. We have simplified the process, so everything is automatic. No more babysitting uploads or having to manually download pictures from the Internet.

How do I join a Sharing Circle?

When you have received an invitation via e-mail to join a Sharing Circle, simply open the Memeo Share main console and click Join a Sharing Circle.

You can find the Sharing Circle you want to join by clicking on the Find Users button and typing in your friends’ e-mail address.

Hint: From this menu, you can also designate the location on your computer you want pictures and videos to be saved. Your friends and families pictures and videos will be automatically downloaded to this folder, categorized by username.

What is the difference between a public and private Sharing Circle?

A Public Sharing Circle allows anyone to view your pictures and videos online. By navigating to your Memeo Share personal webpage
(for example: http://share.memeo.com/mikeloo25), your pictures and videos are live for the whole world to see.

A Private Sharing Circle restricts who can view your media. Only you people you originally invited to that particular Sharing Circle will be able to view it online.

How do I delete photos from my online album?

Memeo allows you to edit the photos in your online web album.

First, you need to log on to your online web album. Click here to sign in: http://share.memeo.com/login

Now, click on the album with the picture(s) you want to delete, then click on the actual photo you want delete.  Click the edit link on the top bar (underneath your username), and then select delete.

Note: Deleting your pictures from your online album will not delete your pictures from your computer.

What file types are currently supported?

1. Photos: *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp, *.gif, *.png, *.raw, *.tif, *.tiff
2. Video files: *.wmv, *.mov, *.mpg, *.mpeg, *.avi, *.m4v

We will be supporting other file types in future releases.

Can I delete an entire Web Album?

Yes, you can now delete entire Web albums.

First, you need to log-on to your online Web account. Click here to sign in: http://share.memeo.com/login

Now, click on the album you want to delete. On the top menu bar, click on the edit link. Click Delete Sharing Circle to completely delete this Sharing Circle.

Note: Deleting your pictures from your online album will not delete your pictures from your computer.
